Motorsport Photographers intends to showcase and link to the best in automotive and motorsport photographer websites from around the world.
The intention is to bring together in one place an easy to browse selection of the finest in automotive and motorsport orientated photography websites and blogs, helping to promote the fantastic work of many photographers who may otherwise go unknown by many potential fans, as well as showcasing some well known photographers whose websites you may not have yet seen.
Having trawled through hundreds of automotive and motorsport photography websites looking for the best sites to showcase, it became apparent that there are a huge number of photographers out there trying to make a business from their work that are failing to present their images in the best possible way – from out of date portfolios to websites designed with comic sans as the main font, I think I’ve seen it all.
Hopefully this website will highlight just what is possible with a little thought, time and money. Anyone thinking of starting an automotive and/or motorsport photography business could do a lot worse than spending ten minutes looking through the websites on motorsportphotographers.com to see what a little attention to detail in the web design process can do for their image.
As well as bring the best in automotive and motorsport photography portfolios, I’ve also decided to add in an onFlickr section, to highlight some of the many talented photographers who choose to present their work via the (best) online photo sharing website, Flickr. The main reason for this is that there are a number of photographers, who, for one reason or another, choose not to go down the personal portfolio route, instead electing to use the power of Flickr to share their work. Its only fair that these photographer are also included in on this site.
